Presentation of the Photogrammetry project by St. Joseph’s College in association with the Society for Old Lucan and Lucan Library.
Paul Butler from SOL teamed up with Miss Carey and the students of St. Joseph’s College to run this project in which the students learned the process of photogrammetry (3D scanning) from start to finish to make a 3D image of the headstones and also they researched the people who are buried in the graves. The students then gave the final presentation in Lucan Library.
Well done to the students on a fantastic project and presentation and we hope to run this again in the new term with new students in a 10 week module using the students from this term to help run the future project.
